Indented Head Boat Ramp Upgrade Project

Maw Civil Marine delivered the upgrade of the Indented Head Boat Ramp, removing the existing ramp structure, kerb, and bluestone before constructing a new AW Maritime–designed facility. Works included partial demolition and installation of 20.5 metres of in-situ deck, 20.7 metres of precast deck, and 84.5 metres of sheet pile cut-off wall, providing a durable and compliant foreshore asset.

Sheet piles were driven at the outset to form a stable, self-bunded work zone, improving efficiency and environmental control. The piles were trimmed to final level at completion, with all structures installed to strict grading, alignment, and engineering tolerance requirements.

Construction sequencing was planned around winter high-tide windows to ensure safe and continuous progress. Delivered for Bellarine Bayside Coastal Management, the project demonstrates Maw Civil Marine’s capability in technically precise and environmentally considerate marine construction.
